Phimai Historical Park

Phimai Historical Park is Buddhist place of Mahayana,it is located in the middle of Phimai or Wimai Pura which is major city in the east of the Khmer kingdom appeared on the stone inscription found in Cambodia around the 12th century(inscription of king Isanavarman called Bhimapura) and the 18th century (inscription of Jayavarman VII called Wimai Pura) presumption Phimai Historical Park built in Suryavarman I at the end of 16th century cause found name Suryavarman I on stone inscription identify era 1579 and 1589.Art form Phimai Historical Park mostly Khmer art it is Baphuon to Angkor Wat which is about at the beginning of 17th century and more construction in Jayavarman VII about the 18th century.
